The Clergy and Faith Leader Abuse online reporting tool and toll-free reporting line are for victims and survivors to report current and past abuse from clergy and faith leaders.
Survivors can report abuse by using the online reporting tool or calling 1-877-222-2620. (M-F 7:45 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
The online reporting tool and toll-free reporting number are not affiliated with any faith group or church organization. They are supported by the Wisconsin Department of Justice, Office of Crime Victim Services.
Information gathered from the online reporting tool and toll-free reporting line will not be shared outside the Wisconsin Department of Justice without permission. The information will be reviewed along with any other relevant information received to determine if further investigation is appropriate.
- Victims and survivors will be connected with support resources and services.
- A referral for criminal investigation or prosecution may occur.
- The Wisconsin Department of Justice will work to verify the accuracy of lists of clergy and faith leaders with substantiated allegations of sexual abuse.
The Office of Crime Victim Services’ Clergy and Faith Leader Abuse toll-free reporting line has trained Victim Services Specialists who can provide support, resources and referrals to local survivor services.
